Aki Sogabe cards on sale now!
Many of you will remember the public artwork project, “Japanese-American Farmer at the Pike Place Market,” which was dedicated in
1999 on the Day of Remembrance, February 19. This art piece recognized the significant efforts of the Japanese American farmers in the development of the market prior to World War II.
The Seattle Chapter has printed commemorative reproductions of the mural for a chapter fundraising drive. The sets include five note-card sized, full color prints of the 35-foot long ceramic mural created by Aki Sogabe. Envelopes are included.
The set costs $10, plus $2.50 for mailing and handling. Framed sets are from $50 to $60. These card sets will make beautiful gifts as they are timeless, all occasion remembrance cards for celebrating special occasions. I am certain that you and your friends and family will enjoy these cards!
